Andi flew in from Istanbul and was there to greet us as we got off of the plane. Everything worked out so perfectly. It was a long flight but we made it safe and sound and were so excited to see Andi. We are over 9,000 miles from home!!!!
Something was wrong with my camera so this picture didn't come out well at all but the mosque is so beautiful that I wanted to include it in my blog.....
After we rode the desert dunes we pulled up to the place where we would have our dinner party. Before we entered we all took a ride on the camels....
Enjoyed an authentic bedouin dinner sitting on Persian
carpets and pillows with a sky full of twinkling stars above
our heads. The food and the music and the whole experience
was just incredible! A night we will never forget!
Let me see that tatoo dah-ling and I will dance for you......Lee's camel tattoo is a definate chick magnet!!!
What a fun night this was! Enjoyed the evening with our Aussie
friends from Melbourne. Pretty cool....since that was where
Lee served his mission. They were absolutely darling.
We were encouraged to find a Gold Star movie theatre while in Dubai...
we found one in the Mall of the Emirates. We saw The Proposal sitting in these cushy seats. It is a total luxury theatre. They bring your food and drinks to you during the movie. It was a trip! What made it even better was the fact that we were the only ones in the theatre!! We had the whole place to ourselves. It was awesome!
Time to say good-bye. This was one of the most incredible experiences
we've ever had! Thanks Andi for a wonderful memory and
thanks Nic for the awesome hotel room!!! Amazing time!!!!!
At the airport in Dubai getting ready to take a 15 hour flight to Atlanta.
We totally lucked out by getting Business Class seats. The only way to fly!
Bye Bye Dubai!!!
What a FUN trip!
