Happy Birthday Daddio!!!

Yesterday was Lee's 55th (wow!) birthday and we sure had a fun day! We were originally planning to fly to Nicci's for the day but it was 117 degrees in Palm Desert, then we tried to get a flight to Honolulu to fly over for some good North Shore Thai food but the flights were full....so we opted to make a day of it right here in the good ol' Rocky Mountains and that ended up being a great idea.....here is the birthday boy getting ready to open his presents.

Had to add a few more....

Found President Hinckley's grave...we were pretty excited about that.

President McKay was one of moms favorites...

This was taken at Chrissy's house when Kristen and Jeremy stopped by for a visit...Zeke will love this picture with his best buddies Bryce and Kevin!

Hogle Zoo

The day after graduation the kids came to our house for a sleep over.

Saturday morning we got up early and headed to Hogle Zoo....

Had a super fun day.....those kids are the sweetest!

After the storm.......

We made it to graduation - AGAIN........ALIVE! It is so much work getting these kids graduated and it just about kills me. However, when I go to the graduation ceremony at the end of the school year and see these kids in the caps and gowns - I remember why I do it and why it's worth it! I really have the greatest job on the planet! One of these girls had 31 U's to clear which means that we spent 93 hours together to get her graduated! We are nearly relatives by now! She was so happy at graduation though. Makes it all worth while!
