I Love the Holidays!!!

Thanksgiving in Denver. The girls put together an incredible Thanksgiving feast!

The family.....(well, as many as we could gather)

It was fun having Michael there to celebrate with us.....

December isn't the best time to put a new roof on and extend your porch....however, it needed to be done - so we did it!
Brrrrrrrrr........
I didn't take this picture but I love it of the girls up in Breckenridge
It was great seeing my cousin Joe and his family who stopped by for a Christmas visit. Cute, cute family.....
Andi came home for a week before Christmas. It was fun spending time with her...
"We are the ones we have been waiting for. We are the change that we seek". Love that President Obama. He is telling Andi..."yes you can"! :)
We made it to Alaska to see the kids. Getting ready to take them swimming at the pool in the hotel. They have been taking swimming lessons and have become great little swimmers....
The Farrar's

One, two, three...Cowabunga!!!

Fun times with the kids....

Sweet Zoe...

They love their papa....

Opening Christmas presents from our family.....the purse was a hit!

Nut case!!!

Pictures in our usual spot at Appleby's before dinner...it is sooooo cold in Alaska!

Cute family shot.....
The kids loved their new quilts and pj's......
....and pillow pets....
It is kind of a tradition that at least one person takes their turn having the flu at Christmas....Kristen's turn! Poor thing!
Trying to get a flight out of Anchorage was almost impossible. Ended up getting passes on Alaska Air and flew to Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan, and Seattle.....
.....but got stuck in Seattle for Christmas Eve. We were pretty sad but managed to make it to Denver by noon on Christmas day. What an experience!
Nicci had made all kinds of wonderful Christmas food.
Opening presents Christmas afternoon. Zeke and Izzy and Zoe made the cutest Christmas ornaments for each of us.....

Scarves from Aunt Chris....so cute!

Santa brought a ski helmet for Nicci which ended up cracking us all up. She will be thankful for this lovely gift if she ever takes a tumble on the slopes..... :)

Daddio is all tuckered out....
This will end up being a Christmas to remember. The best gift of all was that we got to spend it with each of our kids and grand-kids. We live a very blessed life - for sure!!!
Happy New Year!!!

I love Fall!

A visit from Andi in September. Lee tried to fill Andi and Casey and Chloe up with tacos.
It's so nice having Andi and Nicci living in Colorado and so close to home!

We were lucky enough to be able to do a temple session at the Palmyra Temple
So beautiful!

It was rainy and cold but such a great experience!

The School of the Prophets was held in this room

What a great way to end our visit back east!
Lee was going to be ordained as a High Priest on this day so the girls came home to support him. It was really a great day for us all.

Bishop Smith, President Strong, and Brother Beecher. We were small in number but mighty in spirit. These are some really great men.
A family shot - love these beautiful girls so much!
